Hostel

Great location. Clean and quiet. Only spent a few hours here before sleeping so didn't really use facilities or get a feel for the atmosphere. It's not the most attractive hostel (creaky floorboards, could do with new painting) but it does the job for a night!

Staff who working there are quite helpful and friendly. Location is pretty perfect, beach in front of the hostel. Two mins driving distance from town center. If you are young and looking for a place to meet new friends, this is the place to go. Only thing not really satisfy is the hot water system, water not very hot

Awesome spot,,close to state library..I doing course, walking distance for food,,shops and many more restaurants area..lotsI enjoy my meal at square restaurants 24hr..only few steps from hotel..The hotel is clean..and Cony very friendly and well welcoming..Awesome..thanks conyI put key at front door..thanks..recommendedLow budget but safe..Don't go out night ..for safety only..go when u feel safe..Vietnam's restaurants opposite hotel ..safe to eat i go there all time..place great and few steps only..

Great place close to the city, and always meeting great people, i would recommend if you are a traveller passing by and got a good experience of this town.

We are in our mid 70's so staying at this Backpackers has added to all the different types of accommodation we have stayed at over many years. We enjoyed the interaction with many of the young folk from such a variety of countries.Our double room was very basic but at least it had both a ceiling & floor fans. The sheets were clean but the mattress either needed to be turned or replaced, which meant we sank into the middle.We appreciated the 10pm cut off for noise & this was adhered to.The cleaning staff did a great job in the early morning but many of the young guests did not treat the communal kitchen with respect for others using it. Dishes would be rinsed but the food was often not cleaned out of the sinks. We got tired of cleaning them out so we could wash our own dishes. Perhaps signs above the sinks would jog them to clean up.Overall an interesting experience.

Great place to stay! There much in the area but we simply needed a bed for the night and this was perfect. Very friendly family, felt very welcomed. Chilled out atmosphere. Clean. Spacious and all the amenities you could need. Thanks!

I stayed at Hay St for a year and can honestly say Randy is welcoming, thoughtful and always gets things done. I met some amazing people and found the place comfortable and well equipped. Thank you for the experience Randy.

I have been there before pandemic started and it’s such a nice place. Really easy connect with others, the kitchen is pretty big and the common areas super nice for share with other but also to find solitude if you like it. The people working there are very welcome and friendly, it’s clean and it feels just a place to stay for while .Thanks for everything during my time there guys :)Maria

Good atmosphere with people and communal area, helpful staff, fair kitchen and laundry. Was in Broome to visit and not to work/stay long-term so didn't partake in meeting people and going out much but you can do this easily. Rooms were fine but not incredibly spacious as is a hostel and beds weren't too bad either. Toilets were cleaned regularly and rooms once a week. Can't explain. Bar is cheap too for drinks with 20% off from 6 to 7 pm. Prices tend to rise and fall? I got a bed for 7 days for $270 but looked again after and found around $450 for 3 days. Get in early and don't wait till last minute like me to book. NOTE that Broome is a very touristy/holiday destination for oldies so hotels are quite expensive outside of city norms so hostels are the way to go here.

This hostel is amazing, I’m 26 and always been a hotel gal but I came with my partner and tried this hostel business. It was awesome- the staff are so friendly! It’s a gorgeous place definitely know you’re on holiday when you’re chilling in the pool with this mini jungle around you. The bathrooms were clean and there’s lots to do around the place! I stayed for 1 week and I don’t regret it and will be excited to come back! I heard some of the rooms were a bit hot but we just cracked the window with the fan and were super comfortable- lots of people just chilled on the hammocks or in the pool having a drink until it was time to sleep.
